We must put power back in the hands of community

Community control and grassroots programs are the only way to bring empowerment, change and positive results. Not top down, punitive measures that take control out of community. Doesn’t matter who it is, or where it is. Solutions need to come from the people who are affected by the issues. Communities know best how to solve their own challenges. All that needs to be done is the right amount of resourcing and tools to enable this to happen.
